Did you know the Waldron District Library has been in Waldron since 1938, but not until about 1965 was it considered a constant establishment here in the Village?

Since 1938, we have been located in over half a dozen locations around the Village with many local residents filling in as librarians.  This all changed in the 1990's when the decision was made that the Library needed a permanent home.  With the combined efforts of the Library Board, Friends of the Library, and many people of the Village and surrounding areas, a building fund was established.
Within four years the new building was complete and ready to open.  Since that year, we have been constantly improving not only the inside but outside as well.
